The members of Eco-Club- “Eco-cops” of Department of Chemistry, UIT organized the Poster presentation competition on 20 August, 2015. The theme of the competition was “Bacteria & Virus in our Environment: Cause, Effect of green chemistry”. The events reaffirm the agenda of sustainable development and to acknowledge the role bacteria and virus in our environment.
Students from constituent colleges of UIT participated in the event. The event is coordinated by Dr. Waseem Ahmed and others faculty members of UIT. They were asked to explain their creation. Ms. Pragati (B.Sc. Hons. chemistry) was awarded for best poster award. Around 50 eco-cops participated in the event. They made posters depicting ways to conserve the ecosystem of the earth.
