Department of Physics, School of Applied and Life Sciences, organized a one-day seminar on “Recent Trends in Laser and its Applications” on 26 March, 2019. The seminar started with the Welcome Note delivered by Dr. B.S Rawat, Head – Department of Physics, SALS. Dr. Gunjan Purohit, Associate Professor, Department of Physics, DAV (PG) College, Dehradun was the Resource Person. He gave his talk on origin of Laser and their working principle. In continuation Mr. Prateek Uniyal, Assistant Professor Head – Department of Physics, SALS discussed about laser applications in biomedical industry. The seminar was attended by forty five participants.
Dr. B.S Rawat (Head – Department of Physics, SALS) delivered Vote of Thanks in which sincere gratitude was expressed towards Hon’ble Chancellor Shri Jitender Joshi for extending his kind support and encouragement for organizing the webinar.
