Department of Physics, School of Applied and Life Sciences, organized a one-day Seminar on the topic “Advancement in LASER and Technology” on 4th October, 2019. The seminar started with the Welcome Note delivered by Dr. B.S Rawat (Head – Dept. of Physics, SALS). Dr. Gunjan Purohit, Associate Professor, Department of Physics, D.A.V. (P.G.) College, Dehradun was the invited Resource Person. The seminar started with a detailed session on different Dye LASERs and their application. Dr. Vikas Tayal Assistant Professor, KVS Subharti University, Meerut, discussed about fiber laser and its industrial applications. The seminar was attended by fifty two participants.
Dr. B.S. Rawat (Head – Dept. of Physics, SALS) delivered a Vote of Thanks in which sincere gratitude was expressed towards Hon’ble Chancellor Shri Jitender Joshi for extending his kind support and encouragement for organizing the webinar. Respected Vice Chancellor, Uttaranchal University and Principal – SALS were also thanked for their valuable presence.
