Uttaranchal University celebrated National Law Day on 26 November. The honorable Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Mr. Harish Rawat was the chief guest at this occasion.
On this occasion, Hon’ble Chief Minister was given a grand welcome. Hon’ble Chancellor of the University Sh. Jitendra Joshi presented a momento and a letter of appreciation. In response, Hon’ble Chief Minister felicitated the ‘Legal Aid and Awareness Cell’, Law College Dehradun for the successful organization of eighth successive mega blood donation camp.
Hon’ble Chief Minister also inaugurated the special edition of ‘Dehradun Law Review’ a law journal of Uttaranchal University, which is a combination of web, print and wall journal available on website, libraries of universities and colleges as well as on the wall of the college respectively.
Speaking at the programme, Principal of Law College, Dr. Rajesh Bahuguna stated that the blood donation camp is the chief event among the other programmes held on the occasion. He said that the students studying here take a vow to donate blood at least once in a year to make the Law Day meaningful.
