Dainik Jagaran group organised the ‘Jagaran Excellence Award-2018‘ programme on 28th December, 2018 at Four Points Hotel, Rajpur Road, Dehradun on completion of 75 years of its publication. Mr. Kushlanand Kothiyal, State Editor of Dainik Jagran and Mr. Anurag Gupta, General Manager welcomed the Chief Minister, Mr. Trivender Singh Rawat by presenting a Floral Bouquet at the venue. On this occasion, Mr Trivendra Singh Rawat (Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttarakhand) honoured Mr Jitender Joshi, Chancellor, Uttaranchal University by conferring Jagran Excellence Trophy and Certificate for his commendable work in higher education. CM Rawat also said that the journalism is the fourth pillar of democracy and the general people have more expectations from the newspapers. In this way Dainik Jagaran has been fulfilling this belief of the masses for decades and has achieved the status of the most reliable newspaper. CM Rawat said that talent should be recognised and respected this as paves way for more encouragement of people towards excellence. He said that Dainik Jagaran reports/news truth in its original form which is unbiased and the editorial column guides the reader in a better way.
