The Marketing Club of Uttaranchal Institute of Management, Uttaranchal University, organized its fun-filled learning activity titled “The Brand Game” on February 25, 2020.
“The Brand Game” comprised of a series of marketing activities which emphasized on an experience enriched with immense infotainment. The participating teams competed in 04 different rounds which required prediction, acute observation and timely retrieval of accurate information. The activities included ‘Just 10 Seconds’, ‘Brand Puzzle’, ‘Rapid Question Round’, ‘Brand Charades’ & ‘Blind Date’. Students acquired intensive understanding about marketing concepts, brand recall & the power of team work. In all, it imparted immersive learning via gamification strategy to all the participants.
34 Teams (154 Students; 92 Boys & 62 Girls) of MBA, BBA, B. Com (Hons.), B.Sc. (IT), MCA and BCA participated in the said activity.
“Team Kajal – MBA I Year” won “The Brand Game”, whereas “Team Trio – B. Com. (Hons.) II Year” was the Runner-up.
Ms. Deepmita Thorat & Mr. Bhushit Sharma (students of MBA I Year) anchored the activity.
President of Marketing Club Ms. Shivani Tyagi initiated the event with a Welcome Speech & Vice President of Marketing Club Mr. Javed Saifi proposed the Vote of Thanks.
The event was mentored by the Faculty Members of Marketing Club, namely, Dr. Amitabh Bhargava, Mr. Shivendra Chaudhary, Dr.Deeksha Panwar, Ms. Shailee Parmar & Dr. Mayank Pant & was organized by Marketing Club Student Body.
Director UIM Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Suri appreciated the students’ efforts & felicitated the Winning & Runner-up Team.
The event turned out to be a huge success with the support of Mr. Abhishek Kumar Pathak (Cultural & Academic In-Charge), Mr. Anoop Negi (Registrar, UIM) and Mr. Anand Rawat (Lab In-charge, UIM).
