IIT, Roorkee organized 3-day ‘Annual Social Convention” from 6-8, February 2015. The theme was “Educate.Evolve.Empower”. It included Panel Discussion on Fiinancial Planning, Paper Presentations, Guest Lectures by eminent persoanlities, Rural Parliament, various work shops, , Short story Writing Competitions, Dances, fun and so on.
Students of Faculty of Management (UIM) participated in “Annual Social Convention” organized by IIT Roorkee from 6-8 February. The convention was based on the theme “Educative. Evolve. Empower” Our management students made paper presentations and participated in the panel discussion on Financial Planning Rural Parliament and workshops. Sakshi Chandana and Avneet Kaur from B.Com (Honours) made a presentation on the topic “Rethinking Capital” on the theme of Inclusion of rural areas in banking facilities. Their presentation was highly appreciated. Piyush Arora of BBA-IV Semester registered his name for organs donation. Our students also took part in panel discussion on “Water conservation” organized by Dainik Jagran group of papers.
