“Mr. and Miss Uttarakhand Rising Star 2019 Contest” was held in Haldwani on 3rd March, 2019. Mamta Kumari [M.Sc. (Biotechnology), II Semester] won the hearts of the judges and spectators present at the event with her charm, wit, flawless beauty and confident attitude. Trouncing the rest of the contestants, she bagged the title of ‘Miss Garhwal 2019’.This event was sponsored by Leechaniya Production and the Grand Finale of the event took place at Hotel Saurabh Candy, Haldwani. The competition was quite challenging as 23 contestants from different cities were shortlisted for the Final Round. The organizers of the show included Ms. Anamika Singh & Mr. Lalit Chaudary (MTV Love School Season 3 Winners), Mr. Bhavesh Negi (Professional Model and Mr. Kumaon), Mr. Digvijay (Professional Model/Actor), Ms. Leecha Singh (Miss UP) and Mr. Rajender Singh.
