Lokesh Chandra Bagouli of Department of Mechanical Engineering selected for Third Round of “International Design Competition”

Students of Department of Mechanical Engineering had participated in “International Design Competition” organized by CADD Centre. The 1st Round (Design iQ Questionnaire and Concept Design) of the competition (which is comprised of four rounds) was conducted in the Department of Mechanical Engineering on 13th October, 2018. Overall 45 students of B.Tech.(ME) II and III Year had participated in IDC (International Design Competition). Nine students were selected for the Second Round.

The second round was conducted at CADD CENTRE for which a Training Session spanning one week was given to the students. The selected students performed their best in the Second Round (Live 3D Design Test) on 26th October, 2018.

Lokesh Chandra Bagouli of B.Tech.(ME), 5th Semester was selected for the Third Round (Design using Solid Works followed by Analysis Test using ANSYS) which is scheduled to be conducted at regional level in Delhi on 31st October, 2018.

Mr. Akshay Katiyar, Centre Head – CADD Centre, handed over the certificate to Lokesh Chandra Bagouli and congratulated him for clearing the Second Round of the competition. The Faculty Coordinator Mr. Vivek John (Assistant Professor-ME) and all the Faculty Members of the department encouraged Lokesh for the upcoming rounds and gave valuable advices on the design concepts.

Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.)N.K. Joshi & Head of the Department Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Joshi appreciated the hard work of Lokesh and rendered their blessings and best wishes for the upcoming rounds of the ”International Design Competition”.
