Mega Blood donation camp organized
Uttaranchal University celebrated Law Day. at this occasion Legal Aid Centre of Law College Dehradun organized a Mega Blood Donation camp. A large number of students, faculty and the staff donated blood at this occasion. Around 600 units of blood were collected. There was great enthusiasm among the students for blood donation so much so that the staff of the three hospitals participating in the camp, the Himalayan Hospital, Mahant Indresh Hospital and The Doon Hospital fell short of the required equipment.
The camp was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Justice Rajesh Tandon , the member of Human Rights Commission of Uttarakhand. The dignitaries present at this occasion were the chancellor of Uttaranchal University, Mr. Jitender Joshi, the Vice-chair person Mrs. Anuradha Joshi, Vice Chancellor of the university and the deans of all departments, faculty and the students of all colleges of the university.
Law College Dehradun, since its inception, has been devotedly undertaking socially useful activities and blood donation is one such activity that is organized every year on the occasion of Law Day.
