Sardar Bhagwan Singh Post Graduate Institute of Biomedical Sciences and Research conducted its 11th National Debate Competition in memory of Sardar Gurcharan Singh on 8-9 February, 2018. Law College Dehradun was represented by teams consisting of Anjan Prasad Sahu & Neera Sinam for English and Aman Singh & Shubham Bahuguna for Hindi. The event witnessed participation of around 40 teams from all over the country in which the team of Anjan Sahu & Neera Sinam lifted the ‘Best Team Trophy’ and Neera Sinam won the trophy for ‘2nd Best English Speaker’ and a cash prize of Rs. 7500. This debate competition has been duly chronicled in the history of LCD for having won the trophy for two consecutive years amidst other competitors including participants from Banaras Hindu University and Aligarh Muslim University.
