Law College Dehradun Organized an Intra-Collegiate Debate Competition in Association with RTI Club, Dehradun. Dr. Abhishek Joshi, Director Student Affairs of the University was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Hon’ble Judges were Dr. B.P. Maithani, President RTI Club, Dr. Suchismita Sengupta Pande, Member Secretary NFSA Commission, Uttarakhand & Mr. Yagya Bhusan Sharma, Secretary RTI Club, Uttarakhand.
The Topic of the bilingual was “Will Protection of Privacy Impact on Transparency and Accountability Obligations in Public Dealings?” (क्या निजता का संरक्षण राजकाज में पारदर्शिता और जवाबदेही की बाध्यता को प्रभावित करेगा?)
Winners- 1. Anushka Joshi 2. Neera Siman 3. Aprajita 4. Ananya Bhatt. These four students will represent Law College Dehradun, Uttaranchal University in the final round of RTI Debate to be conducted by RTI Club, Uttarakhand on 7th September, 2017.
