“Aarambh” – the Debating Society of Law College Dehradun conducted its first event on the 11th April, 2018 with the launching of its official name, logo and motto by the President, Anjan Prasad Sahu which was further enumerated by the Convenors of the Society. The Debating Society of Law College Dehradun was formally rechristened as ‘Aarambh’. Eventually, ‘Vagyuddha’, the event which “Aarambh” had been preparing for day and night, was formally launched with an announcement of the enthralling panel of Core Adjudicators. The Official Year Book of Aarambh 2017-18 was also released by Hon’ble Chancellor of Uttaranchal University Shri Jitender Joshi, Prof. (Dr.) Rajesh Bahuguna, Principal and Dean – LCD, Dr. Poonam Rawat, Head of the Department (Law) and Mrs. V. Bhuvaneswari, Chairperson of the Debating Society in the presence of the faculty members and the students of Law College Dehradun. The book was a compilation portraying the hall of respected alumni of the society and the numerous prizes won by the society. Principal and Dean – Law College Dehradun in his speech expressed his heartiest congratulations to the society members who had progressed in leaps and bounds.
