The students debate the motion at UIM
UIM conducted the final round of the debate competition on 16 Sept. Earlier the speakers had been shortlisted from the preliminary rounds. The motion tabled before the house was ‘Is Leadership inborn or can leadership be acquired?’ the speakers presented their views For and Against the motion. The views offered were very thought provoking and the speakers demonstrated analytical skills. The judges had a tough time choosing the winners.
Speakers with the highest points were Chitrakshi of MBA first year and Siddharth Mehta of BBA III year. They were declared the winners jointly.
The runner-up speakers were Umme of BBA III year and Garima of MBA I year.
Confident debating is the first step towards corporate success.
