Uttaranchal Institute of Management takes pride in acknowledging the highly gifted B.Com. student of the institute, Ms. Shreya Grover, who is an artist par excellence in oil and acrylic painting. Her paintings have been exhibited in India and abroad. She is just seventeen years of age, which makes her a child prodigy.
Recently, in Singapore, her painting on the theme ‘Loneliness’ was sold for a staggering amount of Rupees Seven Lac! She was also honored with a Silver Medal and a Certificate by ‘Kaladham’, Singapore.
In Jaipur, her painting entitled ‘Candling of Couple’ was sold for Rs. 1,50,000. She was also awarded a Wrist Watch and a Certificate for her brilliant work by ‘Artphinter’, Jaipur.
Her painting on the theme ‘Couple’ was sold for Rs. 70,000 in New Delhi. She also received an award for her work and a Certificate by ‘Arpizen Gallary’, New Delhi.
Art has always been her first love. She wants to present her exquisite artwork to the audience across the globe. She quotes, “Art is not what you see, but what you make others see…” She is a big fan of Pablo Picasso and is a big dreamer too.
