Dr. Bhairav Patra and Dr. Nitesh Agarwal, representatives of IIT Delhi, conducted a workshop on “Virtual Lab” on 11th October, 2015 for the students and faculty members of UIT. During the induction Prof. N.K. Joshi Director – UIT, extended a warm welcome to all the delegates and participants of the workshop. He also said that the virtual labs will be of much benefit for the students as it would help them in learning basic and advanced concepts through remote experimentation. Hon’ble Chancellor, Mr. Jitender Joshi inaugurated the workshop and, in his address, urged the students to make maximum use of the benefits provided to them. Dr. Abhishek Joshi, Director – Student Affairs & IT Services, speaking at the event, said that these Virtual Labs would be of great use for research for the students of all fields. Vice Chancellor Prof. S.C. Joshi in his speech reiterated the mission of the University to contribute to the society through the pursuit of education, learning, and research at the highest levels of excellence. He also shared his belief that organizing such workshops will help us move faster towards the fulfillment of our mission.
