The month of April brings an end to the college term of all final year students and it is time to bid farewell to them. On 30 April, third year students of all law courses of Law College Dehradun organized a highly entertaining farewell party for final year students of BA.LL.B, LL.B and LL.M. courses. It was an afternoon of high entertainment, fun and frolic as the students rolled out one after another performance consisting of dance, singing and plays. All through the program one could detect a twinge of sadness as the final year students were saying good bye to their alma mater and starting a new phase of their life.
The students put up lively welcome, western, fusion and Garhwali dances. The acclaimed singers of the college sang some soulful melodies. At this occasion the students who had secured top positions in the university examinations were also felicitated by the chief guest, Mrs. Anuradha Joshi, the Vice chairperson of the University.
The principal of the college Prof (Dr.) Bhahuguna expressed his appreciation of the program and the excellent performances put up by the students. The event was attended by Mr. Abhishek Joshi, Director Student Affairs, Mr. G.P.Sharma, Managing Director of Uttaranchal University, Mrs. Beena Bahuguna, Raipur Block Head, Prof (Dr.) Raj Dhar, Vice Dean of Academic planning Uttaranchal University, Prof (Dr.) Pradeep Suri, Dean Uttaranchal Institute of Management, Dr. D.S.Chaubey, Dean Research Studies, Dr. Poonam Rawat, HOD Law College, Dr. Prabha Lama, faculty members and the students.
