A Guest Lecture on “Advanced Microbial Techniques” was organized on 6th November, 2017, by School of Applied and Life Sciences. Dr.Harish Chandra from HNB Garhwal University was the Key Speaker. He has expertise in Immunology and Microbial Techniques.
The Guest Lecture was attended by the Final Year students of M.Sc.(Industrial Chemistry) and B.Sc.(Hons) Biotechnology.
Dr.Harish Chandra defined and explained the basic and advanced needs in microbiology and motivated the students to learn the basic concepts of mircobiology, biochemistry and biotechnology. He also explained the need and significance of this specialized industry in today’s world.
Dr. Ajay Singh, Principal-SALS and Dr.Bharti Ramola were present on the occassion. Dr. Ajay Singh extended his gratitude towards Dr Harish Chandra for sparing his valuable time and sharing field-specific relevant information.
The lecture was a great success as it provided intuitive learning to the students and opened up a new horizon.
