On 16 September 2016 fresher’s welcome function was organized by the department of Agriculture & Forestry of Uttaranchal University, Dehradun. Function was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Chancellor Mr. Jitender Joshi by lightening lamp.
After lightening lamp ceremony IInd year students present bouquet to the dignities and started the program with Vandana. Vandana was performed by Ist year studentof B.Sc. Agriculture Miss Khusboo Pandey. The Ist & IInd year students organized various cultural activities which were thoroughly enjoyed by all the guest and students. On the basis of performance by freshers, Mr. Mohit was chosen Mr. Fresher and the Crown of Miss fresher was won by Miss Bhavishya. Mr. Damrik and Miss Rabina Laishvam were declared Mr and Miss Sparkle of the day.
The Fresher Party was concluded with a thanks note by the Head of the Department & the distribution of prizes and gifts to the winners of the modeling contest by the Hon’ble Chancellor.
