Department of Physics, Uttaranchal College of Applied and Life Sciences organized a one-day seminar on “Fiber Optic Communication” on 06 March, 2018. The seminar started with the Welcome Note delivered by Dr. B.S Rawat, Head – Department of Physics, UCALS. Mr. Sunil Ghildiyal, Department of Computer Science, UIT was the Resource Person. The seminar started with the advantages of fiber communication over the traditional wired communication. Dr. B.S Rawat continued the session and discussed about different optical multiplexing technologies. The seminar was attended by sixty five participants.
