Department of Mechanical Engineering under the aegis of Uttaranchal Institute of Technology organized ‘Mock Interview’ on 11th November, 2017. The event was organized for the students pursuing B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering. The event was conducted in three rounds; the first round was Group Discussion, followed by Audio-Visual Round and the third and final round was that of Personal Interview. The students participated with full zeal and zest and learned useful tips to outperform while participating in group discussions and facing an interview.
The jury for the event comprised of Mr. Sanjeev Joshi – Head, Department of Mechanical Engineering (UIT), Mr. Jitender Kumar- Head, Training and Placement, Uttaranchal University and Ms. Kanchan Negi (T&P). Mr Jitender Kumar shared his valuable experiences with the participants and the student audience.
Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) N.K. Joshi and Dean-Engineering Dr. Badai Lonia appreciated the efforts made by the faculty & students in organizing the event.
The results were declared after the conclusion of the Final Round and the prizes were distributed by the esteemed jury members.
The winners of the event were as follows :
I : Dhanajay Kimothi – B.Tech.(ME) III Year
II : Raunak – B.Tech.(ME) IV Year
III : Parv Jha – B.Tech.(ME) II Year
The event was successfully organized by the Faculty Coordinator, Ms. Shivani Pande, Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering with the help of student volunteers Shubham Shalta, Vasu Pokhriyal, Vinay Phulara, Saurabh Rawat and Abhinav Taragi [students of B.Tech.(ME) Third & Final Year].
