Department of Management, Uttaranchal Institute of Management, organized ‘Board of Studies’ Meeting to revise the syllabus of BBA Programme on 12th June 2021. The event was initiated by the Chairman of BOS Committee Prof (Dr.) Pradeep Suri. The members of “Board of Studies” included Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Suri – Dean-UIM, Chairman (BOS), Prof. (Dr.) Amitabh Bhargava – HOD (Management), as the Member Secretary, Prof. (Dr). Deepak Sahani – Dean, Management & Commerce Studies, SGRR University, Dehradun, as External Member, Mr. Sant Ram Shah, Sr. Manager Bank of Baroda, Premnagar Branch, Dehradun, as Industry Expert and Dr. Ashulekha Gupta – Associate Professor, Dr. Deepti Sharma – Associate Professor, Dr. Babita Rawat – Associate Professor & Dr. Archana Saxena – Associate Professor, as Members.
The drafts of the revised syllabus, as suggested by the feedback of stake holders (Students, Teachers and Alumni), were presented before all the members of BOS. The Experts put forth some valuable suggestions which were deliberated upon by all the members. Some of the suggestions, proposed by the experts, were accepted by all the members unanimously and were incorporated in the syllabus.
The meeting concluded with the Vote of Thanks delivered by Member Secretary Prof. (Dr.) Amitabh Bhargava.
