The Webinar titled ‘Contribution of Women in Skill India Programme’ was held on 25th February 2022. The Guest Speaker of the session was Ms Hiresha Verma, Founder & Chairperson of Han Agrocare LLP. Dean SOA, Prof (Dr) M P Singh, welcomed the guest key speaker Ms Hiresha Verma, faculty members of SOA and other departments, and student participants. Dr. Rajendra Prasad, HOD, SOA introduced the guest to the participants and invited her to deliver her lecture.
Ms Hiresha Verma spoke on how an entrepreneur can in true sense work for society. It is who is an employment giver rather than an employment seeker. She insisted that the development of entrepreneurship initially requires mentorship from the experts. Ms. Hiresha was enthusiastically interested to lead the students who wish to start their own setup. She emphasized that we should always be ready for the challenges and only by keeping positive thoughts we can overcome them. An entrepreneur should always focus on quality. She emphasized that for entrepreneurship, it is mandatory to do homework in terms of planning, market survey, and competition. There was a questionnaire round at the end. Students advanced their doubts which were aptly resolved by Ms Hiresha Verma.
