M.Pharm. Pharmaceutical Chemistry

M. Pharm. is a two-year post-graduate Programme which has been designed to focus on the field of pharmaceutical science. Under this programme, the students get in-depth knowledge of the course like product planning and formulation designing of pharmaceuticals.

M.Pharm. Pharmaceutical Chemistry is an interdisciplinary programme that covers the synthesis, designing, development, and other significant factors of existing and novel drug molecules. Parallelly, it deals with pharmacodynamic as well as pharmacokinetics of drugs.

Eligibility:
  • B.Pharm. with minimum 55% marks for general and 50% for SC/ST category.
  • Admission is based on a merit list of qualifying examinations followed by an interview of the eligible aspirants.

Admission Procedure:
  • Admission is based on merit computed on the basis of marks secured in qualifying examination. University also conducts interviews of all applicants before admitting the eligible candidates.
  • Out of the total intake, 40% seats are allotted to students of Uttarakhand under the State Quota and the rest are open to students from All India. In case the allotted percentage of seats of State Quota remains vacant, it will be filled by All India students.
