Uttaranchal University is committed to the cause of furthering the cause of education.
The Sushila Devi Memorial Scholarship has been initiated with a philanthropic spirit in mind. This is instituted in the memory of Smt. Sushila Devi Joshi, late mother of our esteemed Chancellor. The main objective of the scholarship is to educate, empower, and elevate the younger generation thus preparing them for active participation and contribution towards the upliftment of the society.
Every year a number of students are awarded the Sushila Devi Memorial Scholarship for securing a high percentage of marks in their respective study programs. With an intention to motivate more number of students a substantial amount of fund is utilized for the purpose.
The provision of scholarship not only serves as a highly motivating factor to stimulate the students to excel in academics but is also considered a prestigious reward in recognition of student’s good credentials.
