NSS Wing of Uttaranchal University celebrated ‘NSS Foundation Day’ on 13th October, 2016 by organizing a one-day Special Camp on “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan” in Primary School, Badowala, Premnagar. The programme was conceptualized and planned by the members of NSS wing of the University.
Dr. V. K. Srivastava, NSS coordinator of the University initiated the programme by giving brief introduction about NSS vision and mission. The programme comprised of different sessions focusing on cleanliness, hygiene and other online activities. Sessions were conducted through the mode of power point presentation, discussions and quiz. Students shared the information about online activities (like digitalization, E-Transaction, social media, etc.) with the primary school’s students and teachers. A discussion was also coordinated on the topic ‘Ways to ensure cleanliness’.
The programme was coordinated by Mr. Atma Nand.
Mr. Atma Nand concluded the programme by delivering a Vote of Thanks in which he appreciated the efforts of all the students(volunteers) of NSS and acknowledged the presence of one and all.
