Uttaranchal University awarded “Best Private University – 2018” and “Best Law College – 2018” awarded to Law College Dehradun

10 th December, 2018 was recorded in the annals of Uttaranchal University as a day of pride. Divya Himgiri, in collaboration with Uttarakhand State Law Commission, Human Rights Protection Centre (Uttarakhand) and Samarpan Society initiated “Divya Himgiri State Level Education Excellence Award” and organized the Award Ceremony of “1st Divya Himgiri State Level Education Excellence Award – 2018” on 10 th December, 2018 in Hotel Saffron Leaf, Dehradun. Uttaranchal University was awarded “Best Private University – 2018” which was conferred to Shri. Jitender Joshi (Chancellor – Uttaranchal University) by Hon’ble Cabinet Minister of Uttarakhand Shri. Prakash Pant, Hon’ble Cabinet Minister of Uttarakhand Shri. Subodh Uniyal, Hon’ble Mr. Justice K.D. Shahi (Chairman – Human Rights Protection Centre, Uttarakhand) and Hon’ble Mr. Justice Rajesh Tandon (Chairman – Uttarakhand State Law Commission).The luminaries also conferred the award of “Best Law College – 2018” to Law College Dehradun which was received by Prof. (Dr.) Rajesh Bahuguna (Principal & Dean – Law College Dehradun, Uttaranchal University).
