Department of Mechanical Engineering, Uttaranchal Institute of Technology, organized a one-day Workshop on ‘Latest Technology Advancement in I.C Engine Design in association with Insergo Technologies on 15th October, 2016 for students of B. Tech. (Mechanical Engineering). The event was inaugurated by Director (UIT) Prof. (Dr.) N.K. Joshi, by lighting the auspicious lamp. The Keynote Speakers were Mr. Dinesh Negi. The session started with a Welcome Note delivered by Mr.Sanjeev Joshi, Head – Department of Mechanical Engineering followed by the motivational speech of Director UIT, Prof. (Dr.) N.K.Joshi, who emphasized the importance of Advancement in Knowledge .
The Expert Speakers spoke about IC Engine Concepts and Advanced Technologies in I.C Engines like MPFI, VVTI, and DTSI etc. They further spoke on the importance of designing and analysis of IC Engine parts which included the design of cylinder, piston, connecting rod, timing valves, to name a few. The Workshop provided the insights on theory and hands-on Practical on Assembly and Dis assembling of I.C engine parts.
The program came to an end with the words of wisdom and Vote of Thanks delivered by Mr.Sanjeev Kumar Joshi, Head – Department of Mechanical Engineering. The Program was successfully organized by the faculty members of the Department of Mechanical Engineering.
