Uttaranchal Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences celebrated “World Nature Conservation Day” on 28 July 2021 by organizing a Webinar. The webinar initiated with a Welcome Speech delivered by Mr. Ashish Dimri (Asst. Professor-UIPS ). Thereafter the Guest Speaker Dr. Ishfaq Hassan educated the students about the importance of conserving nature. He extracted out examples like Chipko Movement which started in Uttarakhand from history and invited students to again set up an example from Uttarakhand and start a movement to conserve nature. The session was very enlightening and students raised their queries in the question and answer round. The session ended up with the Vote of Thanks delivered by the Event Coordinator Mr. Ashish Dimri wherein he expressed his gratitude towards the Chancellor of the University Shri Jitender Joshi, Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. (Dr.) Rajesh Bahuguna , Prof. (Dr.) Vikash Jakhmola, the Dean of UIPS, Guest Speaker Dr.Ishfaq Hassan and all the faculty members and students of UIPS.
