Department of Computer Applications, Uttaranchal Institute of Management, organized a one-day Workshop on ‘Web Development Using Bootstrap’ in collaboration with CETPA for the students of MCA, BCA and B.Sc. (IT) on 23rd November, 2019. The purpose of the Workshop was to provide practical exposure to the students in the domain of Web Development.
Mr. Abhishek Kumar Pathak (Assistant Professor – Computer Applications) welcomed the dignitaries, namely, Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Suri (Director, UIM) and Mr. Abhishek Rautela (Expert Trainer, CETPA). He also introduced the guests to the students. Mr. Abhishek Pathak emphasized upon the importance of conducting such events for the students. He explained that the purpose of the event was to provide a first-hand experience of latest technologies to the students.
Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Suri motivated the students and advised them to keep themselves updated, especially in the field of Information Technology. He also encouraged the students to participate actively in such Workshops.
Mr.Abhishek Rautela initiated his presentation with the basic concepts of Bootstrap. He imparted the working knowledge needed for Programming and Debugging using HTML. He elaborated the concepts of CSS along with the working of Bootstrap. Thereafter, he replied to the queries from the students.
The Workshop turned out to be a huge success with the active support of Dr. Monisha Awasthi, Ms. Vijay Lakshmi, Mr. Anuj Kumar, Mr. Ravindra Singh Rawat (Head – Cultural & Academic Affairs), Mr. Anoop Negi (Registrar, UIM) and Mr. Anand Rawat (Lab In-charge, UIM).
