The objective was to help the orphanage children by distributing various items like books, stationery and other utility items.Depending on the needs of the children, volunteers were involved in various activities like games, drawing, singing. An orphanage houses children of various ages who either have no family or have lost their families in natural calamities. The home usually has a care-taker who monitors the children of the orphanage and a few helpers to take care of the residents.Students were also taught and made aware about basic health and hygiene practices they must adopt in their routine life.

A visit to an orphanage is a life-changing experience as it is filled with emotions and sentiments. 50 students from Management and IT programs volunteered and participated in the event and made the event a huge success.
