Uttaranchal Institute of Management organized Teacher’s Day

Guru Shishya relationship is one of the oldest and most important foundation stones of our lives. In India, 5th September is celebrated as Teacher’s Day as a mark of tribute to the contribution made by teachers to society. We at Uttaranchal Institute of Management believe that student-teacher interaction is very important and hence the students from the various programmes of the Institute came out in joint efforts in making “Teacher’s Day” a memorable and remarkable one for their teachers..On this occasion, Prof (Dr) Pradeep Suri, Dean, UIM, Dr Rajeev Ranjan, HoD, UIM and other faculty members were welcomed by the students of UIM.

The afternoon started with the students showing their gratitude to the teachers. It was a colorful program with cultural events as well as some fun-filled games for the teachers.  The active participation of both teachers and students left the campus buzzing with life. The students exhibited their talent and devotion to teachers through speech, poem recitation, dancing and singing. Dr Suri acknowledged in his speech that a good teacher is a pillar in the life of students. He motivated the students to become good people and good teachers. He emphasized the devotion, determination, and dedication of a teacher for this profession.

The efforts of the students were appreciated by the Dean, UIM and all the faculty members.
