To spread awareness and make young minds understand the importance of the ozone layer and the need to protect this fragile shield of gas, Globe Club of Uttaranchal Institute of Management had conducted a campaign to raise awareness among the students on September 16, 2022, through the posters and slogan writing. Students were given the opportunity to use their creative thinking throughout the event to demonstrate the negative effects of the hazardous carbon emissions that are responsible for the ozone layer’s deterioration.
The students were very enthusiastic and participated in the campaign. In order to raise awareness among other students and faculty members of Uttaranchal University, the students of UIM finally began a poster march inside the university campus. They even took the oath to protect the ozone layer by reducing the use of harmful materials. The activity took place under the guidance of Prof (Dr) Pradeep Suri, Dean-UIM and was coordinated by the efforts of Globe Club members.
