School of Applied and Life Sciences introduces Value Added Courses

School of Applied and Life Sciences has introduced Value Added Courses for all the students of the college. The course is being conducted from 1st – 14th August, 2018. A series of lectures are being conducted on ‘Human Values and Professional Ethics’ and ‘Basic Analytical Techniques in Chemistry’ by the faculty members of Department of Chemistry. The programme aims to ensure happiness and prosperity of the students through right understanding and harmony in the college campus. This will help in improving the quality of life and help them to gain a positive attitude in their day to day life. In addition, these lectures will boost the practical knowledge about instruments like HPLC and UV. The lectures are being taken by Prof. (Dr.) Ajay Singh, Principal – SALS, Dr. Bharti Ramola, Dr. Shalini Upadhayay, Dr. Mir Amin, Dr. Poonam Negi, Dr. Waseem Ahmad, Dr. Harish Chand Joshi, Dr. Naveen Kumar and Dr. N.C. Joshi.

Value added programs related to Research Methodology, Research Techniques, IPR, Food Processing are also being conducted by Department of Physics, Mathematics, Food Technology and Biotechnology of School of Applied and Life Sciences.

Under the series of Value Added Programmes a special lecture was delivered on ‘’Path to Happiness” by Mr. Milan Singhal, CCoordinator – SAVE (Society of Applied Value Educaton) an organization of ISKCON (International Society for Krishna Consciousness). In his lecture Mr. Milan talked about the art of being happy and the importance of soul.
