The Codex Club, Department of Computer Application, Uttaranchal Institute of Management hosted a quiz tournament called “TECH-TONIC” for UIM students. The competition was designed specifically for newcomers to test and polish their theoretical and practical knowledge, as well as their technical abilities, resulting in more efficient work, more confidence, and a more valued applicant for employment.
The first round of the Quiz was held on May 6, 2022, using a Google Doc form, with 30 questions in the qualifying stage. The first round had 37 teams from various Department of Computer Applications courses, with four teams qualifying for the final round. The outcome for newbies was fantastic. The final round of the “TECH-TONIC” Quiz competition was held at UIM’s Seminar Hall on May 7, 2022, using the Kahoot app.
After competing in both rounds, namely, the Basic Programming round (Qualification Round) and Advance Programming, the following individuals occupied the positions:

Dr. Sonal Sharma, HOD Computer Application, Mr. Ishteyaaq Ahmad, (Faculty Head of CODEX Club) along with Dr. Rajiv Kumar Gill, Mrs. Vijay Laxmi Sajwan, Ms. Vyeshikha Arora, and Ms. Pratibha Pandey, were the key reasons for the grand success of the event. The student coordinators for the event were Sunny Rai, Shaily Bisht, Shilpi Bisht, and Mohammed Zaid of B. Sc IT -VI, Prabhjot Kaur and Simran Vaishya of B. Sc. IT-IV, Saksham Sharma, Ojaswini Mahendru and Abhishek of BCA-IV, Akib Mirza and Anushka of B. Sc. IT-II. The event turned out to be a huge success with the active support of Mr Anand Rawat, Lab In-charge, UIM.
