The students of Journalism and Mass Communication, School of Liberal Arts Uttaranchal University organized a visit for BAJMC and MAJMC students to Vidhana Sabha (Legislative Assembly) Dehradun. The purpose of the visit was to enhance the knowledge about the working of Vidhana Sabha.
At the Vidhana Sabha students got the golden opportunity to meet Mrs. Ritu Khanduri, MLA from Kotdwar and the current speaker of Vidhana Sabha. She interacted with the students and faculties in her cabin. The students also interacted with the media and a few of them got the opportunity to give an interview which was broadcasted on various local news channels and was printed in various newspapers.
The visit was enriching, it gave a fair idea to the students about media reporting as well as the working of the Legislative Assembly. The students were accompanied by two members of faculty, Dr Jitendra Sinha, HoD and Mr Pawan Dabral, Assistant Professor.
