The Undergraduate Students of IT Department (UIM) (Shubham Nauriyal, Tuku Reena, Kunal Chaudhary, Akshay Badeja, Rohan Jaiswal, Krishna Dutta, Sainyam Agarwal BCA 4, Pallavi Ramola) participated in the “STARTUPs Awareness Seminar” conducted by “PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry” on 16th February 2017 at Hotel Madhuban Dehradun.
The focus of the entire seminar was on developing a healthy ecosystem in Uttarakhand state in order to allow more and more startups to be born in the state. The Seminar was initiated with a welcome note by Mr. Anil Taneja Regional Director, PHD Chamber. The Key notable speakers included Dr. P.K. GHOSH Dy Director IIT Roorkee who shared his experience rich expertise. The other speaker was Mr. Akshay V. Singhal, Research Scholar from IIT Roorkee & Founder and CEO; Startup – M/s Log9 Materials Scientific P Ltd. who shared his journey with students from initial steps to founding a successful startup company. Various key officials of The Government of Uttarakhand were also the Guest of Honors in the program. Overall it was life time informative experience for all.
