Sub Unit Uttaranchal University 29 UK Bn, National Cadet Corps (NCC) Dehradun conducted a cleanliness drive on 09 December 2022 at Tons River, Arcadia Grant Premnagar Dehradun. To tackle the issue of plastic pollution and achieve the universal goal of clean water bodies through ‘Puneet Sagar Abhiyan’.
Event Objectives:
- a)To inculcate a sense of responsibility within our youths to protect the environment for future generations to live a long and healthy life
- b)The campaign aims to propagate the message of the importance of clean water bodies amongst the local population.
- c)It seeks to educate locals and sensitize about ‘Swachh Bharat’.
Those present on the occasion were Lt. Nitin Duklan, PI Staff Mr. Sarweshwar Prasad, PTI Mr. Jay Rana, and 48 NCC Cadets.
