An online, one day Career Development Workshop on topic “Career opportunities in Retail Sector Post Pandemic” was organized by Uttaranchal Institute of Management, Uttaranchal University, in collaboration with United Republic Services Private Ltd on 25th May, 2021 via the ZOOM Platform.
Mr. Vivek Tangri, Training Consultant & Lead Trainer, was the eminent speaker for the said workshop.
Master of Ceremony, Mr. Shivendra Chaudhary hosted the workshop for BBA and B.COM (H) students and welcomed all the dignitaries.
Mr. VivekTangri conducted a very inspirational, interactive and informative workshop that focused the attention of the audience towards managing time during the lockdown and be successful by following six simple tips that everyone can follow i.e. Silence, Affirmation, Visualization, Exercise, Reading and Scribing.
With the help of few inspirational videos, he stressed on the fact that great people don’t cry and do not take failure as a setback in life. Infect, they bounce back and reach the pinnacle of success by channelizing their energy in the right direction.
He also discussed few opportunities which students can harness during the pandemic lockdown and can earn money and remain engaged. Few areas he discussed were digital marketing, social media management, online trading, affiliate marketing, managing blogs, online fitness coaching, content writing etc.
The workshop was very interactive & informative & was a great success and attended by 45 Students from BBA & B. Com (Hons.).
In the Last, Master of Ceremony proposed vote of thanks to all the dignitaries & students.
The workshop was also attended by Dean UIM, Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Suri, HOD-Management Dr. Amitabh Bhargava, along with other Faculty Members of Uttaranchal Institute of Management, Uttaranchal University.
