Education involves overall personality development and proper guidance of the students. Career Guidance is a very important aspect of higher education and is vital for correct career decisions. Engineering students require career guidance during and after B.Tech. A little advice and information from the inspiring individuals can save a lot of time, money and stress.
With the same objective Mr. Gaurav Thakur (Faculty – CE, UIT) organized a Career Counseling Session under the aegis of ‘Nirmaan’- the Society under of Department of Civil Engineering on 16th October, 2019. Mr. Arun Singh (Motivational Speaker) was the Invited Expert.
All the students of civil engineering domain attended the session. A presentation was delivered by Mr. Arun Singh wherein he covered many topics like how to find your area of interest and what are some good career options after B.Tech. Students showed enthusiasm and participated actively in the Question-Answer Session and cleared their doubts. The speaker interacted with the students and advised & educated them about current trends in industry, suitable career options, communication skills and job nailing techniques.
