Law College Dehradun, Faculty of Uttaranchal University organized Crossword Quiz Competition on 12 February 2022 under the aegis of Vasundhara- The Green Society. The theme was an award for nature for which the registration commenced on 8 February 2022 and closed on 11th February. This competition aimed at developing interest among students to explore and analyze legal issues, and develop interest among students especially those related to environmental law. It helped students to enhance their skills in a fun and easy way through research. It also provided students a platform to remember and learn new facts related to environmental law. The competition was held in two rounds under which round one was written based and comprised of 20 questions that would be solved by each team in 25 minutes. The first round went very exciting and interesting. and the results were announced in which six students were selected. The second round was conducted on February 12 at 2 o’clock where every participant received a link through email just before the commencement of the competition. That link led to a software platform for crossword competitions students found this method very interesting and innovative as for online competitions.
In the end, it can be seen in can be said that the event was very successful as students gave a positive response and the aim of spreading environmental awareness and protecting endangered species was successfully conveyed. This was a fun-loving event that was appreciated and applauded by everyone.
