Law College Dehradun felicitates Ms. Nidhi Yadav for clearing Higher Judicial Services

Law College Dehradun, Faculty of Uttaranchal University organized a grand Felicitation Ceremony on 9th May, 2018 for its alumna Ms. Nidhi Yadav for her meritorious entry into Judicial Services by clearing U.P. Judicial Services Examination 2016. Nidhi was from 2015 batch and graduated from the college with First Division.

Hon’ble Chancellor Shri. Jitender Joshi presented a memento as a token of appreciation and recognition to Ms. Nidhi. On the occasion he acknowledged that it is a great honour for the institution to felicitate such brilliant alumna like Nidhi, who has brought laurels to the college. He also appreciated all the faculty members for maintaining higher standards and quality education and remarked that female students of the college are constantly giving spectacular results in competitive examinations which is a healthy sign. Principal and Dean Prof. (Dr.) Rajesh Bahuguna proudly stated that Nidhi is the 24th alumnus to enter Higher Judicial Services from Law College Dehradun and congratulated her for the spectacular success. He exhorted the students to emulate Nidhi and remain focused towards their studies as hard work has no substitute. He also mentioned that several students and faculties have already qualified the judicial services of different states and are currently serving as judges in respective district courts.

Nidhi in her address conveyed her gratitude to the Chancellor and Principal for the grand felicitation and extended her gratefulness towards all the faculty members. Further she had an Interaction Session with the students in which she shared some tips and techniques to crack judicial services. She also confidently opined that the teaching methodology followed by the faculty members in LCD helped her to a major extent. Nidhi motivated the students to participate in all kinds of co-curricular activities as it boosts up morale and confidence. She insisted that extra-curricular activities like Moot Court, Debates and Parliamentary Debates are essential for students of Law as it is helpful in analytical research concerning pressing legal issues. She also inspired the students by stating that perseverance is the only key to success.
