An Industrial Visit to India Glycols, Dehradun was organized by Uttaranchal Institute of Management for MBA 1st Semester and MCA 1st Semester students on 20th September, 2021. In all, 31 students visited the company. Mr. Sanjay Singh Chauhan was the Coordinator of the Visit which was proposed and guided by Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Suri (Director, UIM) , Dr. Megha Aggarwal (HOD, Management) and Dr Sonal Sharma (HOD IT).
The objective of the visit was to make the students aware of the entire manufacturing of various chemicals in Dehradun, and make them aware of the working environment in the organization.
The group was welcomed by Mr. Swatantresh Mishra, HR Manager. First of all, he briefed us about the company, its vision, mission and its Products. Thereafter, students were divided into two groups and the groups were escorted by the production heads to production units.
He invited queries from the student end. Many students raised their queries and he responded to them aptly and with proper details. Students were elated by this practical exposure.
