The Webinar on the topic “Importance of Profession Ready Training in Clinical Research and pharmacovigilance on the most booming industry, Clinical Research, Pharmacovigilance, and associated domains” was organized by Uttaranchal Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Uttaranchal University in association with Clini India on 16th February 2022 from 11:00 AM onwards. In this Introductory session he said that clinical research and Pharmacovigilance are systemic investigation in human beings for evaluating the safety and efficacy of new drugs before coming to the market and after getting entry in the market further Sir also focused on the importance of clinical trials in present pandemic condition and need of ready professionals for the same. On the occasion, Mr Vishal Chaudhari addressed the seminar as an eminent speaker. He is B Pharm and masters in clinical research. He has been serving 10 years in the Pharma industry and worked on multiple profiles. Last six years he has been a part of Clinical research training and placement, Clini India as Head of operation and responsible to handle technical as well as training and placement support to Clini India campus in Pune, Mumbai, Bangalore and Hyderabad. In his talk he presented on Introduction to clinical trials and Pharmacovigilance secondly enlightened the challenges need to be overcome for smooth conduction of clinical trials and directed about career prospects for pharmacy students in the field of Pharmacovigilance and Clinical Research.

The session was so interactive and it was coordinated by Dr Tarun Parashar, Associate Professor and Dr Ankit Sharma, Assistant Professor, UIPS and attended by more than 80 attendees including faculties and students.
