Excursion trips form an integral part of academic grooming for the students of Uttaranchal University. School of Applied and Life science, Uttaranchal University arranged an excursion trip to Crystal World, Haridwar on 23rd April 2022 with an aim to help students release their academic stress through various fun activities.
Crystal World is an amusement park with adventure rides to increase the adrenaline rush among students. It has a water park that includes swimming pools and slides to beat the scorching heat. Water parks in more recent stages of development include a wave pool to provide an artificial surfing or bodyboarding experience. Students were provided with all facilities including transport, food, and security to ensure that they enjoy their day with all university support. All in all, it was a mind-blowing experience that can never be forgotten by the students.
The tour was conceptualized under the guidance of Prof Ajay Singh, Dean, SALS. The tour was planned and executed by Dr VK Srivastava, HoD Mathematics accompanied by Dr Nishesh Sharma, HoD Biotechnology and Dr Sukriti Singh, HoD Food Technology along with other faculty members of the school of applied and life sciences for the smooth conduct of the tour.
