Department of Mechanical Engineering and Department of Civil Engineering, Uttaranchal Institute of Technology, Uttaranchal University, Dehradun, organized a one-day Webinar on “ORACLE- Primavera & Six Sigma-White Belt as Career Prospects for Young Engineers” in association with OBDE Technologies Pvt. Ltd. for B.Tech. Mechanical and Civil Engineering Students on 26th May, 2021. The invited Guest Speakers were Mr. Raj Subbiah, Director – Operations (OBDE Technologies) and Mr. Sujeet Kumar, Account Manager Learning Academy. Mr. Raj Subbiah has product and technology experience with on-premise and cloud-hosted applications, specifically, Oracle Primavera Suite, Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Fusion, SAP, RIB iTWO and System Integration using lean applications use knowledge.
The Webinar initiated with an Inaugural Speech delivered by Mr Vivek John (Assistant Professor, ME) & Mr Gaurav Thakur (Assistant Professor, CE) followed by the Welcome Address delivered by Prof. (Dr.) S.D Pandey, Director – UIT. He welcomed the Guest of Honour, Heads of Mechanical & Civil Engineering Department, faculty members and participants on the virtual platform.
Mr. Raj Subbiah shared his views and knowledge on ORACLE- Primavera & Six Sigma-White Belt as Career Prospects for Young Engineers in different areas of Mechanical and Civil Engineering. He also highlighted how one can kick start his/ her career using the Primavera software –Project Management concept and Six sigma Technique. During the webinar an ice breaking competition was also conducted.
At the end the Vote of Thanks was delivered by Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Joshi, Head of Mechanical Engineering Department & Mr. Awadesh Chander Mualli, Head of Civil Engineering Department.
