Communication skills and confidence have a very unique relationship. The better communication skills you have the more confident you are and vice versa.
Creations Club, under the aegis of Cultural Club – Uttaranchal University, planned to organize literary events with the intent of enhancing the communication skills of the students. The First Round was to be conducted at College Level followed by Winners competing in the Final Round to be conducted at University Level.
In accordance with the same the Cultural Committee of Uttaranchal Institute of Technology organized ‘Just a Minute’ (JAM) on 14th October, 2019. Students from all the branches participated in the event. The educational qualification of politicians in India, women security in India, customer services of various companies, importance of communication skills, android technology and the changed traffic rules were the topics which had to be elaborated upon by the students. The program was organized by Mr. Arvind Singh Rawat and Ms. Ruby Pant (Cultural Coordinators – UIT). JAM Session helped to enhance the confidence of the students and simultaneously also provided them an opportunity to put forth their skills.
Aditya Tiwari [B.Tech. (CSE)] won the competition followed by Tejash Roy [B.Tech. (CSE)] who emerged as the Runner Up .
