About the Program:

B.Sc. (Life Sciences) CBZ is a 3 years degree program covering aspects of Chemistry Botany and Zoology. This program helps the student to understand different life forms.  This program serves as a basis for higher studies in related fields of Botany, Zoology, Bio-Chemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Food Science, Biomedical Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Virology, Toxicology etc. 

Career Options:

The subject also has plenty of opportunities in the field of Research and Development (R&D) and other related fields of Pharmaceuticals, Environment and Public Health. After completion of the course the student can pursue higher studies or can be eligible to appear in various competitive examinations in Government and non- government sectors.

Admission Procedure:	The admission is based on merit, computed on the basis of marks secured in qualifying examination. University also conducts interviews of all applicants before admitting the eligible candidates. Out of the total intake, 40% seats are allotted to students of Uttarakhand under the State Quota and the rest are open to students from all India. In case the allotted percentage of seats of State Quota remains vacant, it will be filled by All India students.
